LOVE THE BOOTS GREAT BUY++++++++ December 11, 2009 Bostonboyz (Bozeman, Montana, USA) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Bought these boots and just love them. Living in Montana can be cold!!!!! Great waterproof, and very comfortable and warm and toasty. They run big so I ordered a size 7 instead of an 8 and they are perfect........Merry Xmas
too big :( January 9, 2010 Cindy Uhcs (new york) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love these boots so much i just got them in the mail and they fit with a thick sock but otherwise they are too big!(especially in the heel area). I love them so much i don't know if ill be able to send them back and then have to wait another couple weeks for the replacement! im also worried an eight could be too small! other then that these boots are absolutely amazing!:)
It's a 7 degree windchill outside and my feet are hot! February 10, 2010 elizabeth (Annapolis, MD) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These boots are so warm! As the other reviews state, the boots do run a little big and do push your feet forward slightly. I recommend wearing thicker socks to prevent the backs of your feet from scuffing against back of the boots. I'm stuck in the mid-Atlantic 2010 blizzard and I just got in from shoveling for 2 hours. My feet are the warmest part of my body. These were the best purchase I've made in years. I purchased from Ramsey Outdoor (through Amazon) and the shipping was very quick.
Great boots February 14, 2010 L. Welsing (NY) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I got these boots 2 weeks ago before the big snow storm in the North East and I love them. All the reviews said to get a size smaller which scared me because I wear an 11 so usually this doesn't apply to me. I ended up getting a size 10 and started wearing the boots 3 weeks after toe surgery. The are extremely comfortable and I don't regret getting a size down. I also discovered that you can take the sleeve out makes them a pretty cool pair of rain boots. If the sleeve weren't removable I would argue that you may want stay true to size but with that piece being removable sizing down is the way to go. I am always cold and am notorious for layering up but with these boots you can either wear no socks or very thin socks or leggings and feel toasty. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I just returned from a ski trip and these boots were great. They were brand new but very comfy and kept my feet warm in absolute blizzard conditions. The big decision seems to be sizing. I am always an 8 and never vary from that, but I took the advise of reviews and ordered down to a 7. The 7 fit but my toes were touching the end of the shoe and I was afraid it would rub if I wore them for any time. The 7 also rubbed the back of my heel. I had to go elsewhere to find an 8 (sold out)and that one fit great. I didn't find it run big at all. I was able to wear one thin pair of socks and one very thick wool pair with comfort. The larger size also didn't rub my heel either. I think the thick socks helped and I did use some band-aids to play it safe but I wore them very long and no problems what so ever. For me, I found they fit true to size with enough extra room to fit thick socks. I also was able to get my pants and underlayer tucked into them with comfort. For those pondering size, the only advice I can give on sizing is to just order both and keep the one that fits best since you will probably have these for many years.
